Okay, so I overdid it again. RRRR. Frustrating. I went for a backcountry hike and when I was about two or three miles out into the middle of pretty much wilderness, I realized I was done. But with no roads in site, I had no choice but to hike back out. By the time I made it to the truck, I was limping and in pain. That was a week ago and I’m still struggling to recover. The hike was amazing, the views epic, but man I’m sorry I pushed myself so hard.
I drove back to Phoenix to see my therapist this weekend and I’m feeling better tonight but have a way to go to be fully recovered. So I realize, it’s time to throttle back and let my body heal without pushing myself so hard.
