Henri 2 – In memory of Flora Henrietta La Clair, Tom’s mother.
Spent today cleaning and detailing Henri in preparation for our big adventures. There is no DC power but seems like a minor problem. I found a red wire that should be connected to the battery chain but must have been disconnected to ensure the batteries were not drained while being parked. Just to be safe I’m going to have her checked out tomorrow by a motorhome specialist. For now we’re plugged in, everything is working and I’m excited to be moving in and settled before heading out.
I still want to pinch myself to ensure this is all real because it’s such a miracle. I feel so blessed to have a Fairy God Father! Mr. Tom is such a kind, generous man that it still doesn’t seem possible I could have been so fortunate. Life is an amazing journey and you never know what is waiting around the next bend.
I have an appointment to have Henri checked out to get that DC power back working and make sure she is completely ready to hit the open road. Then we will set sail either tomorrow afternoon or Saturday morning. Lots more to come…
