Driving from the Train Station in Beaverton, Oregon with Uncle Gus
On Monday, October 28th I took the day and flew up to Portland to visit with Uncle Gus. At 82, and after hip replacement surgery and a compound fracture in his right femur, he doesn’t get around so great anymore. But he was able to drive to the train station in Beaverton, pick me up and we went out for a great meal at Olive Garden. Fun to connect and share stories with a very dear friend.
Following our visit, I rode the train back to the airport, flew back to California where Henri was waiting and spent the night.
The next morning I stopped at Refugio Beach and enjoyed a wonderful workout and relaxing time on the beach.
